The Tri River Runners, based in Peace River, participated in the annual K-100 team relay race.
The race has close to 1600 runners following a 100 mile mountainous route from Longview to Nakiska. The KIX-FM and H&R Block sponsored team was 34th overall and 8th in the mixed category sandwiched between, U of C chemistry team and Blood, sweat and beers.
The race is a fund raiser for Hostelling International.
