This
year's Hair For A Cure had headshave fans out in numbers. 15 people
took part at the Riverdrive Mall in Peace
River
to raise funds and
awareness for the Canadian Cancer Society.
KIX's Damien Gnass and YL's Brian McKaig were
among them - together raising nearly
$1000.
But, Damien won the wager and raised $10 more
than Brian did - hense the reverse mohawk while
Damien gloated!
Nice shiny heads is what it's alllll about (and raising
money).
The latest
addition to our on-air team - Graham Caddy - decided at the last minute to join in on the shaving.
Mike Farrow was one of the key organizers who makes this fundraiser
a reality every year.

There are more headshaves for the Canadian
Cancer Society coming, starting with one at the Good Sheppard School
in a couple of weeks.
This one at the Riverdrive Mall raised about
$9000. Thank you to everyone who took part or pledged one of the
participants.
